Overview of the FMEP Settlement Report

The Report on Israeli Settlement in the Occupied Territories is distributed by mail and e-mail at no charge to subscribers by the Foundation for Middle East Peace. The Report contains analysis, data, and maps that chronicle:
  • The evolution of Israeli settlement policy in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, the Gaza Strip, and the Golan Heights
  • The negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, particularly as they relate to settlements
  • The evolution of US and international attitudes towards settlements
The Settlement Report relies upon information appearing in the Israeli and Arab press, official reports, as well as contacts among Israelis, Palestinians, and the settler community. It is known as the authoritative English-language source for information about settlements and the settler community. It is used by diplomats, journalists, students and other interested parties in the Middle East, the United States and elsewhere for concise, accurate updates on this central aspect of Israeli policy in territories occupied in June 1967.
